Ceren Ceylan

Ceren graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Environmental Engineering. During her undergraduate studies, she worked in the sales department of a company involved in the trade of chemical and plastic raw materials, while also managing the company’s sustainability initiatives. In this role, she developed strategies to reduce the carbon footprint and worked on carbon credits and emissions trading systems.

She coordinated sustainability efforts in collaboration with a carbon asset management firm partnered with her company, actively contributing to carbon reduction projects such as afforestation and biochar. As part of this role, she completed a six-week orientation program in London, gaining hands-on experience in international sustainability practices.

Ceren currently works at Metsims as an ESG Consultant, where she plays an active role in developing sustainability strategies, managing ESG performance, preparing sustainability reports, and establishing environmental responsibility policies for companies. Her work is aligned with international and national sustainability reporting frameworks, including GRI, TSRS and ESRS. She is proficient in English at an advanced level.
