Furkan Can Akalın

Furkan Can Akalın works as a Sustainability Consultant at Metsims and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. He manages a wide range of projects, primarily focusing on Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and Corporate Carbon Footprint (CCF). Having led dozens of life cycle assessment and environmental product declaration studies, Furkan has experience across multiple sectors, espiceally construction materials, metals, automotive, and chemicals.

Furkan is currently pursuing his graduate studies in the Environmental Science and Engineering program at Istanbul Technical University. He is professionally proficient in English and has a basic level of Spanish.
