Following a career in accountancy and management consulting, Paul transitioned to the UK Government’s Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP) before joining Oakdene Hollins in 2008. In 2017, Paul established his own consulting business, specializing in ecolabel advice and research. Subsequently, he has been actively involved in delivering the EU Ecolabel scheme through UK Ecolabel Delivery and has contributed to the development of sustainable forestry criteria for the GPP and the EU Ecolabel schemes for DG Env. Over the course of more than 10 years, his engagement with the EU Ecolabel scheme has encompassed providing technical advice on criteria development, representing the UK in Brussels, and collaborating with applicant companies. Paul holds an MSc in Environmental Management for Business from Cranfield and a BA from the University of Warwick. His MSc thesis focused on the topic of product re-use. In both his current and past positions, Paul has worked extensively across various European countries.
