Corporate Carbon Footprint Calculation Training was Organised in Cooperation with Aegean Exporters’ Associations and Metsims
In cooperation with Aegean Exporters’ Associations and Metsims Sustainability Consulting TR, “ISO 14064 Carbon Footprint Calculation Training at Organisation Level” was held on Thursday, 25 August with the participation of our manager Hüdai Kara and our sustainability manager Orhan Atacan. In the training organised within the scope of the Development of Sustainable Competitiveness in the Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Sector Development of International Competitiveness Project, corporate carbon footprint calculation and carbon tax at the border were discussed.
The Aegean Exporters’ Associations, the first exporters’ association in Turkey, has been representing over 7500 exporter companies operating in 12 different sectors in the Aegean Region with its foreign trade experience since 1939. In other words, EIB is an umbrella organisation representing 12 different clusters. The main objective of EIB is to provide its member companies with resources for sustainable, profitable export growth in the 12 sectors in which they operate.
